This privacy policy applies to all apps published by Siddharth Sathyam ("we", "our", "us") under the dotdotdot brand on the Apple App Store. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our apps work.
1. Data Collection
Our apps are designed with privacy as a core principle:
- We do NOT collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral data.
- We do NOT transmit any data to external servers, third-party services, or cloud platforms.
- We do NOT use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.
2. On-Device AI Processing
Our apps use Apple Foundation Models for AI-powered features. All AI processing happens entirely on your device:
- Text analysis, summaries, and suggestions are generated locally.
- No prompts, inputs, or AI outputs are sent to any server.
- AI models run using Apple's on-device machine learning infrastructure.
3. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- Your data is stored in your device's local database.
- Data is protected by your device's passcode and encryption.
- Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device.
- We do not have access to any data stored on your device.
4. Device Permissions
Some of our apps request access to device features. These permissions are used only for the stated purpose and data is never transmitted off-device:
- Camera: Used for scanning documents, identifying objects, or capturing photos. Images are processed locally.
- Microphone: Used for voice input and speech recognition. Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework.
- Location: Used for weather data, navigation, or location-based features. Location data stays on your device.
- Photos: Used to access your photo library for in-app features. Photos are not uploaded or shared.
- Health Data: Used to read health metrics from Apple Health. Health data is processed locally and never leaves your device.
- Contacts/Calendar: Used to provide contextual features. Contact and calendar data stays on your device.
- Bluetooth: Used for device discovery features. Bluetooth data is processed locally.
- HomeKit: Used to interact with smart home accessories. HomeKit data is managed by Apple's HomeKit framework.
5. Apple Services
Some apps use Apple's first-party services:
- WeatherKit: Fetches weather data through Apple's WeatherKit API. Location is sent to Apple's weather service (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy).
- StoreKit: Manages in-app subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Purchase data is handled by Apple.
- HealthKit: Reads health data with your explicit permission. Data stays within Apple's Health ecosystem.
- MusicKit: Accesses your Apple Music library with your permission.
6. In-App Subscriptions
Our apps offer optional premium subscriptions:
- Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store.
- We do not collect or store payment information.
- Subscription status is verified locally using Apple's StoreKit framework.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
7. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our apps do not include advertising, social features, or data collection mechanisms.
8. Third-Party Services
Our apps do not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, APIs, or analytics platforms. The only external communications are with Apple's own services (WeatherKit, StoreKit, HealthKit) as described above.
9. Data Security
Your data is protected by:
- Apple's device-level encryption (Data Protection)
- Your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID
- Local-only storage with no network transmission
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
